Kaudulla National Park:

Kaudulla National Park is located 197 kilometers from Colombo city and 40 minutes drive from the hotel. Birdlife International has declared it as an Important Bird Area. The park is made of dry evergreen forests and Chena cultivation and grasslands surround the tank area.  There are 24 species of mammals, 25 species of reptiles, 26 species of fish, and 160 species of birds found in the park. In the drought period, Sri Lankan elephants move to the Minneriya tank to drink and feed. Around September, the elephants move to the Kaudulla tank in search of more water and food.

Dambulla Temple:

Located in central Sri Lanka, the Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple is a living Buddhist site that contains a series of five cave shrines. The wall is made of brick masonry and covered in highly polished white plaster; a huge number of verses scribbled by the visitors cover the wall some of them dating from as early as the 8th century. It is said that the mirror was polished to an extent that the King could see his image on the mirror.

An entire area of the western face of the rock, around 140 meters long and 40 meters high is covered by paintings of ladies. There are various thoughts about the identity of these ladies and one of them is that the ladies were wives of the king.

The gardens of Sigiriya are among the oldest landscaped gardens in the world. The gardens are divided into three distinct but linked forms: water gardens, cave and boulder gardens, and terraced gardens.
